Pictures of Success
Pictures of Success is an innovative suite of sustainability engagement tools and processes with a track-record of inspiring and educating people in businesses, local communities and schools.
It was originally created through our work with companies as part of a project using the Earth Charter to engage people in the Millennium Development Goals. The Earth Charter is a declaration of fundamental ethical principles for building a just, sustainable and peaceful global society.
Using real picture-based stories and changing the language from ‘sustainability’ to ‘success’ enabled positive outreach to a much broader audience.
The Pictures of Success website serves as a unique resource of original examples of innovative actions by committed individuals, each presented in their own words and with compelling images and inspiring quotes. Websites are also available to schools and others using our approach in their own ways such as the Avonbourne International Business & Enterprise Academy Trust.
We also created a high quality boxed set of 80 laminated A5 cards that are suitable for a variety of uses including:
- conference or workshop warm-up
- workshop facilitation
- corporate training
- community engagement
These have been used in many settings such as schools, universities, businesses and community groups and by practitioners including psychologists and sustainability consultants.
